Betty White Memories and Friday Freebie!

Happy Friday Everyone!
I know I have been away for awhile, I am sorry I have left you all hanging!
We just got back from a trip to California so things were a bit crazy before we left and it has taken me a bit to get caught up now that I am home :)
I hope the past few weeks have been good to you and that you are ready to "scrap" with me again!
Another gorgeous little kit has been released again from CatDesignz. This kit is just full of beautiful florals, swirls, and frames.  The colors are some of my favorites!  Rich corals, vibrant greens, pretty peach and of course we can't forget orange!  This fabulous little kit is called "Keep Calm & Be Thankful".  I have a couple of layouts I have done with it, these ones are among my favorite pages now (and as you know, I have done A LOT of pages!)

These 2 pages feature some photos that we just took when we spent a bit of time visiting Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum in Hollywood, California.  Betty White has me re-living fond childhood memories!

Don't forget to check out some of the other Keep Calm related products that Catherine has created.  She even has a bundle offer available for you if you just can't decide!

Now for your Friday Freebie!  In keeping with our Keep Calm & Be Thankful theme, Catherine has very kindly offered up her Thankful Calm Stacked Papers.  These are only FREE until Monday, so grab them while you can!

Friday Freebie - Gone Fishing!

Good Morning my Fellow Scrappers!
I can't believe it is the end of the week already!  I am very much looking forward to this weekend, hoping we are going to get some nice weather here so my hubby and I can get out and enjoy some fishing!
I thought that for today's Friday Freebie I would share some layouts with you featuring some of our fishing photos.  The first three of these layouts mean a lot to me.  They were taken about 2 summers ago when we decided to take my father in law on a weekend fishing trip.  We traveled about 12 hours away to a rustic, but very beautiful little resort called Finger Lake, just outside of Vanderhoof, BC.  My sister in law flew in from Vancouver and drove to the resort with my mother in law to enjoy the weekend with us.  It was so great to have all of us together and such a nice way to spend time with Jim's Dad.  I don't know how long it had been since Dad had been fishing before this weekend, but I know he enjoyed throwing his line in the water and spending some time fishing with his son.  Jim's Dad passed away earlier this year, but we will always remember all the great times we had with him, especially when we are enjoying our scrapbooks, looking to our favorite photos of our times together.

(This last picture is my husband throwing his line into Lake Okanagan, or as I lovingly refer to it "Lake Okan-Ocean"!)

I used a fantastic little wordart kit from  CatDesignz called Gone Fishing Wordart to create these layouts.  They are available at Catherine's My Memories store now, so you can hop on over and pick up your very own set!
For today's Friday Freebie, I have a quickpage for you to enjoy.  I truly hope that you will use it to scrapbook your own treasured memories and look back on your very own fond memories with your loved ones.

Well, that's all for today, I wish you all a fantastic weekend, and for those fishermen out there Tips Up And Tight Lines!

Happy Scrappin!
