Love This New Digital Kit - Celeste!

I feel so lucky!  I got to play with a new kit from CatDesignz called "Celeste" created for my fellow CatDesignz Creative Team Member, Celeste who had a special blog hop for her birthday.  It is so beautiful with all of the papers and embellishments that are so feminine, I couldn't help but see my Mothers Day photos in with all the butterflies and flowers.  Here is what I created.

I also used other papers and embellishments from the kit to create a look that is quite different from the first.  It really goes to show how one kit can be so versatile and can be used to create so many different pages, yet all co-ordinate together because of the similar color ways and related shapes in the different elements.

Here I used a button from the kit in a repetitive pattern to replicate the pattern of the strawberries on the top of the cake.  This really ties the page together.
If you would like your very own "Celeste" kit to create your own beautiful memory pages visit Catherine's store on My Memories.  Just so you know, there are a couple of great co-ordinating kits to go with this called "Celeste Frames", "Celeste Gazebo", and "Celeste Wordart", all as equally beautiful!  Check it out at
That's all for now, Happy Scrappin!

HAPPY NEW YEAR SCRAPBOOKERS!

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all had a joyeous and safe New Years.  We enjoyed the weekend with family who came in from out of town.  It was really nice to spend time with loved ones.  I really love the beginning of a New Year.  Everything feels fresh and new, like you can wipe the slate clean and just start over!  With that sentiment in mind I played with the new digital scrapbooking kit from  CatDesignz called New Year New Me.  This kit is huge!  So many papers and embellishments the ideas for the use of this kit are endless!  Definately one of my new favorites!  Check it out on the My Memories website.  One of the pages I created with the kit is an inspirational page for myself and what I would like to achieve for this year.

I also did up a couple of pages from a morning of x-country skiing that myself and my daughter Brittany went on with a friend of mine last February.

That was so much fun (and such great exercise) I really can't wait to go again this year!

What are your goals for this year?  I would really love to hear from you, feel free to leave a comment below! I guess that's all for now.  Once again, Happy New Year, and Happy Scrappin!
