Good Morning Everyone!
It's shaping up to be a lovely day in my area! I hope there is some beautiful weather on the way for you too!
I just wanted to share with you a wonderful little podcast that I listened to a couple of days ago. I found it on Layout A Day with Lain Ehmann. She interviewed a lady by the name of Darien Gee who told her inspiring story of how she left everything behind, moved to Hawaii, and held onto the things in life she cared about most, forgetting about personal "things" to live the way she and her husband really wanted to live. She talks about how WE ARE ALL memory keepers in some fashion or another even if you don't consider yourself a scrapbooker! (Blasphemy! Just kidding, lol!) Have a listen (I found it to be lovely to listen to in the background as I was working on some pages) and then take a look at her wonderful paper scrapbooking photos below the podcast. Enjoy! (Podcast Ep78, June 5, 2013)

Sharing My Special Memories & Freebie Friday!
Hi Everyone!
Today I would like to show you something very special to me. I created a video using software from My Memories and a beautiful digital scrapbooking kit from CatDesignz called Birdhouse Blossom. These are photos of my daughter, they are the first photos that we have taken of her that really show how she is growing up before my very eyes. Sooner than I know, she will leave our nest and fly on her own. We had such a fantastic Mother's Day together on our special walk taking these photos. These are the memories I will always cherish! So without further ado, here is Birdhouse Blossom Beauty!
When I created this photobook using Catherine's beautiful kit, I was really pulled toward the tree with the blossoms and of course the birdhouse. This entire book was created using only 3 elements from the kit plus the background paper and then I added in a few wordarts for a little extra pizazz. It just goes to show that you don't need a lot of materials to make a big impact!
If you enjoyed this video, you can make your very own. Just use my code STMMMS74799 to get a $10 discount on the My Memories software and hop on over to Catherine's My Memories store to pick up the Photobook Template Birdhouse Blossom Beauty, plunk in your photo's and your done!
Now onto your Friday Freebie! This is a little Freebie I have created for you using an element from my latest digital kit called My Favorite Things. I really enjoyed making this kit and I feel it works so well with so many memorable events. It is available now in Catherine's store as well as all of it's add on goodies!
***Please note: Terms of Use are Personal Use/Scrap For Hire. You can get a copy of my TOU here. If you like this freebie, please feel free to tell your friends, but I do ask that you send them here to my blog to get it. Thanks!***
Well, that's all for now, I'm off to preserve some more memories. Enjoy your freebie!
Until next time, Happy Scrappin!

Fluttering Freebie Friday!
Good Morning Everyone!
Happy Scrappin!
Ann
Are you all ready for the weekend? I know I am, and I think we are going to get a bit of sunshine too so it's looking like it will be a good one!
This week I spent most of my time finishing off a new digital scrapbooking kit, I don't think it will be very long before it pops into Catherine's My Memories store. In the meantime, you can go and take a peek at the new kits available from CatDesignz. She has a couple of real beauties, Deco Rosa, Rachel, and of course
Birdhouse Blossom which I absolutely love. I will be doing a couple of layouts with the
Deco Rosa this coming up week to share with you, and perhaps inspire you to get working on a few layouts of your own. For now, here is my Friday Freebie for you, enjoy!

Beautiful Birdhouse Blossoms!
Hello Everyone!
Hope today treated you well. It was a beautiful day here, a perfect day to get me in the mood to play with a gorgeous new kit by CatDesignz called Birdhouse Blossom! This kit is so beautiful, I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, I am sure you will too! Here are a couple of pages I did up using the kit. They feature my beautiful daughter on our Mother's Day walk along a parkway path where there is a bird sanctuary. This kit fit my need perfectly. I can see it used in so many scenarios, can't you?
If you would like to enjoy this kit for yourself, you can pick it up over at Catherine's store at My Memories.
Happy Scrappin!

YOU CAN WATERCOLOR ON YOUR SCRAPBOOK PAGES TOO!
Hello, hope the summer is treating you good, wherever you are, ours has finally seemed to turn around a bit so I have been soaking it in!
I have one more posting for you to show you my examples of watercoloring for your scrapbook pages! (After all, it is what I love to do the very best!) I took the same design as for one of my earlier cards, added a few embellishments and photo's and voila!

Well that's all for now, I am off to work on some beautiful fall cards for a swap so I will be back to show you once I have those done!
Happy Stampin!

Best Friend
Any of you who know me, know that I am addicted to scrapbooking! I love the idea that I will be passing on to future generations a real view of what our family life was like and not just a box of photos without dates, names, or places! I recently was asked by a family member to scrapbook some pages so that they were easier to enjoy. I did the very best that I could do, but unfortunately many of those memories will be lost to future generations since already names, dates, and such have been lost to the passages of time.
This is a page I did up to show the love my daughter has for our dog Kiara. Since my daughter is an only child, Kiara is treated much like a little sister, dress up and all!

The supplies used for this page are all available from my catalogue store. The stamp set I used is called "Simple Friendship" and is one of the sets on the last chance list, so if you love this set as much as I do, get it before it's gone! (Please contact me for a full listing of supplies).
Don't let your story go untold...pull out those pictures and start scrapbooking! Simple to extravagent, I would be more than happy to help you with whatever you need, just drop me a line!
